Rebecca has produced and presented radio shows with Suffolk Sound and hosted the regular Sunday morning show, Up with the Lark, in 2025. She went on to create the poetry podcast called The Ditty Bag which is available in various places including on Spotify.
She has appeared on Radio Four, Radio Five Live, Radio Two, Greatest Hits Radio, BBC Radio Suffolk and Essex, and Times Radio.
Rebecca is increasingly in demand as an event host where she is able to bring both a steady hand and a fun spirit to the microphone. Creative and articulate, she sets a room at ease, is an accomplished speaker and is extremely adaptable. She makes it look easy! It's probably the years spent handling Ofsted inspections....
As a poet, she was asked by BBC Radio Suffolk to write a poem to mark National Poetry Day in 2025 and she was a prize winner in the international Waltham Poets poetry prize in 2025 with her poem, Off the Charts. She has poems published in various places such as on The Dirigible Balloon, in the Underbelly Press and in the National Allotment Association magazine.
Follow her on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter/X to stay in the know and join the conversation.
Rebecca also delivers training for teachers on poetry and goes into schools with 'You can read me like a book' - age-appropriate workshops exploring the written, aural and oral sides to poetry.
The Ditty Bag has been described as, 'food for the soul,' 'listening gold,' 'so very beautiful,' and 'the highlight of my week'. Contemporary poets who have been featured include Chen Chen, Jill Alexander Essbaum, Coral Rumble, Gayle Brandeis and Laura Theis.
